Smooth and Easy
"Everyone is born a genius but the process of life de-geniuses you," Buckminster Fuller. Isn't that a great statement? And it's so true how the mundane chores and the bus-y-ness of life does just that - de-geniuses us! I remind myself of Mr. Fuller's statement when I'm feeling overwhelmed or burnt out. The repetition allows my own genius to take over and organize the projects at hand so that the end results are what I desire: each task completed efficiently and quickly with no loose ends.
The genius Mr. Fuller and I refer to is not the IQ rating that the word genius conjures up. We refer to the genius or to the ageless soul/spirit that lives within each one of us. Because our soul is eternal or ageless, it has multi-tasked, built, designed, categorized, computed, gardened, studied, taught, and experienced almost everything. And since it has already experienced and done almost everything, our soul knows how to do, from start to finish, whatever it is we want or need to do and it knows how to do it the quickest, the easiest, and the most efficient way.
Our inner genius or our soul also knows how
to accomplish the very special things we have each chosen to achieve:
find the cure for cancer or aides, abundantly feed everyone in the world or
write the computer program that instructs the robot to do all the time consuming
jobs we do - like clean the house! To tap into your soul genius, simply
concentrate on it. As you know, that which you pay attention to grows:
if you keep your attention on how sick or poor you are, you'll continue to
be sick and poor! Each morning, before you feel yourself slump over
from the weight of the day's bus-y-ness, quiet your mind by concentrating
on your breathing, breathing with your diaphragm. As you breathe in
tell yourself that everything is working smooth and easy, then follow your
instincts/intuition/soul genius to get the job done. Enjoy life and
remember, don't let life de-genius you! :-)

Aromatherapy, what is it really? Any more advertisements have us thinking it is anything that smells good. A wall plug in or a dish soap that has an aromatic smell, they advertise as "aromatherapy".
Actually aromatherapy is Aromatic Medicine, which dates back to the ancient civilizations of China, India, and Egypt. Aromatic Medicine is the study and application of the essential oil that comes from the plants for the maintenance of health and the treatment of disease. Essential oils have been used for centuries for medicinal purposes, however in the world we live in today we think if we do our dishes in lavender dish soap we have had an aromatherapy treatment.
In reality essential oils are very delicate and if not distilled properly loose most of their healing qualities. Essential oils are the living substance that comes from the plant, which contain hundreds of chemical constituents that are responsible for cellular energy production, growth, cell repair and have a defense against viruses, bacteria and fungi. Essential oils are highly concentrated and are medicinally powerful. There are many ways that oils can help to rebalance the body to help improve it. Essential oils are very complex, but are very adaptive for all kinds of "dis-ease" due to their anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, and anti-bacterial properties. They remain a mystery to most because there is a lot of conflicting information out there to decipher.
Essential oils are living essences that penetrate through the skin and body that have multiple actions and are extremely active. They selectively reduce the toxins in the body and respect the beneficial flora of the intestines.
If you would like to learn more about how essential oils can work with you and your body please feel free to visit with Barbara Schroeder, a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist.
Barbara has taken her knowledge of aromatherapy and developed a technique called Aromatic RSCS, which helps to take away long held chronic patterns in the body. She developed this technique over the past 15 years of working in the alternative therapies. This technique started developing out of her own frustration over the years with her own illnesses when doctors told her that she would "have to live like this."
She believes that people don't have to live in the constant pain that they are told they must. Pain comes in all forms, and it is not always physical. It can also be emotional or spiritual. That is why she strived to find a technique that would work with all three of these forms to help free people from the ties that bind. Though the years, she has taken a multitude of technique classes and found that one technique did not usually do the job. So she started expanding her thought processes as things arose for her to look at.
Aromatic RSCS continues to grow daily. She was done with the band-aid approach. Now she gets to observe her clients getting to stages that require preventative care, not constant care!
Barbara owns and operates C.A.R.E. Alternatives Center. If you would like more information please visit her website at www.carealternativescenter.com.

It's not just your sun sign that makes you you. It's also your ascendant, your moon sign, and the aspects (issues to resolve); aspects such as a square, a trine or the Yod configuration (your special life purpose) all being activated or aggravated by the movement of the planets. The movement of the planets is called the transits and the transits as well as the other components just mentioned create your natal/birth chart layout.
In addition to your sun sign, another major part of your personality is your ascendant. Your ascendant is the first impression you give to people and it is the way you view the world or the way you think the world should operate. And the third largest contributor to you being you is the sign that your moon is in. This sign is the avenue by which you express your emotions: fly off the handle, cry at the drop of a hat, wear your heart on your sleeve or "smile though your heart is achin."
Also included in your natal/birth chart layout are self-defeating habits to overcome, God-given gifts and talents to use, and special life purposes to fulfill plus the understanding of why you chose the life you are now living, have the health issues you do, and why you face the challenges you do. So, it's not just your sun sign that makes you you, it's your sun, ascendant and moon signs, the aspects, the layout of your natal/birth chart and the transits.
Having your natal/birth chart read is extremely self-empowering and knowing what's "comin' down the pike" (a transit reading) is as equally empowering because it helps you prepare you. A transit reading shows you the best time to make a job/career change or return to school for additional education. It gives you the opportunity to plan for your first or another child. A transit reading allows you the opportunity to be on guard or aware of an approaching time frame when over-spending is possible, when accidents can occur, when to sign or not sign a contract, and when not to make a major purchase. The transit reading helps you, empowers you, to make an informed decision now for a positive outcome in the future.
If a natal/birth chart or a transit reading isn't what you feel you need, there is the mini-reading. There are two types of mini-readings, astrological and spiritual/metaphysical. A mini-reading, up to 5 of your questions, can "cut to the chase." For example, you may want to know why you continue to attract the same type of person or experience into your life and what you need to learn from the repetition, why you are so sensitive to peoples' emotions and how to handle your sensitivity, why you are always passed over for a promotion or why the color green or the number 9 is predominant in your life. The purpose of a mini-reading is the same as a natal/birth chart or a transit reading, self-empowerment.
Miss Dee has been actively involved in the Metaphysical/Astrological field for 25-plus years. She counsels via mini-readings and astrological chart readings, has given countless lectures on her books, teaches spiritual-based astrology, and has written over 100 articles, fourteen "feature pieces" for eight yearly calendars, four books, and one seven-booklet series.
Her books are titled, The Yod, Your Special Life Purpose; Health, Astrology, and Spirituality; From Fire to Flight; and The Best of Miss Dee. And her seven-booklet series, Warm Fuzzies, is a collection of daybooks, each covering the most popular subjects of our time: life purposes, the psychic self, cherishing yourself, health, relationships, careers, and change. Each booklet shares practical spiritual how-to steps to help make "it" all work, "because," says Miss Dee, "we are here on earth to learn how to combine the spiritual world with the material world."
Please call Miss Dee or visit her website if you would like more information about astrology and/or metaphysics and how each of them can help you empower you, "because self-empowerment is our choice and our right," says Miss Dee. * * * * *
