Mountain Mama Breakfast

One of our Chefettes, Suzanne Welder, helped prepare our delicious breakfast. One of our Wait Staff, Kevin Temmer, indulged us with polite, quick service.    Photos by Miss Dee.

Garage Sale

The theme of this year's Garage Sale was "Oh, What Treasures Abound!" And there certainly were a lot of riches to be found! There were Hard and Paper back books for sale, Baking pans, Coolers, Fans, Notebooks, Baskets, Baseball and Football cards, VCR Tapes and Audio Books plus Hot Dogs and Chips to eat and Pop and water to drink.

Even though it rained both days and the sale took place inside, the turn out was great.

Ice Cream Social

You'd think you were in an Ice Cream Parlor with all those special, homemade ice cream delicacies! There was Peach (YUM!), Vanilla, Honey Vanilla, Amaretto, Strawberry, Tutti Fruiti and Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream plus Triple Berry Yogurt. Brownies, Chocolate Cake, Cheesecake, a wide variety of cookies and Pineapple Upside Down Cake complimented this heavenly selection of Ice Cream.

Don Coenen's group, the "Cball Band", provided live music. Don started his first band, a Show band, in 1963 with seven other gifted musicians. They traveled around the country with the group, Steppenwolf.

Pig Roast

There's nothing better than fresh mountain air, beautiful scenery, enjoyable neighbors you can count on and a juicy, delicious slow roasted pig accompanied by potatoes, rice, a variety of salads and lip-smackin', finger lickin', rich and creamy desserts.  Photos by Miss Dee.

Canyon Clean Up

Yes, we bag up the trash because we take pride in the way our road and the community looks!                                                                                                                             Photos by Miss Dee.

Mystery Dinner

How is Santa Claus involved in this? Only those who attended the Dinner know the answer!

The Haunted House

IF you make it through the Cemetery and past the frightening Mortician, hold onto your Heart!

Bats were flying about, little scary creatures stirred, Coffins opened to release the Dead...

Bloodthirsty Vampires roamed and creepy Ghouls lurked at every turn.

Thanksgiving Dinner/Annual Board Meeting

Our yearly Potluck Dinner included the guest of honor, a melt-in-your-mouth Turkey, rolls and a variety of yummy goodies for the tummy! The 6" of snow we received through out the day hampered the attendance but not our spirits.

And, as with every Annual meeting, new Officers were elected. Virginia Temmer was unanimously reelected Treasurer.

Canyon Craft Fair

If you didn't make it to the Craft Sale, you missed out on buying fragrant Firestarters, gorgeous gifts, perfumed soaps and bath oils, beautiful photographs to deck your walls, Snowmen and assorted Candles, sparkling Jewelry, Alpaca Fiber creations, Christmas Wreaths and centerpieces to dress your tables or mantles and even a Doggy Biscuit Advent Calendar for your favorite pooch! Plus, you could have spent a little time in Heaven getting your nails manicured by Pat Michalek, Licensed Tech and owner of Canyon Creek Nails!

Our friendly and extremely creative vendors were:

Canyon Creek Nails, who use alternatives to the harsh chemicals used in nail preparation.
