History isn't just about what happened 50 or 100 years ago, it's also what's being done now because, now will one day be yesteryear.
On October the 18th, 2003, Virginia Temmer, (middle of photo), accepted for the Sampson Community Club the below certificate from the Jefferson County Historical Commission. This certificate designates the Sampson School a historical landmark.
During the Award Ceremony, the Sampson School details, left photo, were viewed on a Projection Screen. An enlarged photo of the Schoolhouse, right, was also shared with the near 100 attendees.
